  1. Too true. Dogs are dogs and that’s what makes them special. If they were people, we would not like them nearly as much

  2. I agree with LLCandD…We love our dogs for the differences not the similarities

  3. I agree and I am reminded of this quote – “In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn’t merely try to train him to be semi human. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog.” – Edward Hoagland

  4. THANK YOU. I tell anyone who listens that I OWN my dogs, which makes me legally and morally responsible for their care and well-being; I am also the Mom, which, to me, means love :).
