I love this quote. It spurs one one to step it up in your relationship with your dog. We all need to be more aware with our eyes, hands and heart.
My wife and I have observed that each of our animals is calm, social and well behaved. They include dogs, sheep and a horse. I agree that the way we treat animals shapes the way they treat us, and each other.
My dog Mongo, who I adopted from the shelter, is on Prozac because of this OCD behavior. It’s called shadow chasing. Between the meds and constant leave it commands, he’s much better.
